OUR FLEET

OPERATING A STATE OF THE ART FLEET

Excel drivers are extensively trained and beyond holding a HGV licence are competent and qualified in transporting high consequence hazardous goods by road through all classes of ADR including bulk tankers, and even in the specialist fields of classes 1 and 7 (explosives and radioactives). The majority of Excel’s drivers have worked in the high consequence haulage and logistics industries for several decades and all have a vast understanding of how to carry out a job in the safest, most thorough and most practicable manner possible. Further to extensive and specialist ADR qualifications, our drivers are trained by our in house experts and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers (DGSAs) to be able to readily identify pressure vessels whilst on clients sites to ensure that they are loaded and transported compliantly. Our DGSAs can accommodate for any logistically challenging task required of us no matter how complex and ensure that project plans are drawn up in line with ADR, IMDG, RID and IATA regulations.

Our fleet consists of some of the most highly specialised vehicles on and off the road from Fendt 828 high-power rough terrain tractors, HAAS material shredders, Mercedes mobile welfare units to our own ISO Containers and much much more…

To mobilise this equipment to any corner of the globe we utilise a selection of Volvo FH750s and Scania S730s to pull bespoke trailers varying in function and type including Montracon curtain sides, Faymonville heavy haulage low loaders, Broshuis low profile low loaders, Dennison step frames, skeletal trailers and Ekeri EX III rated explosives trailers.
